This magnificent antique cottage has lots of room to spread out. Located in Auditorium Park, this well maintained cottage has a huge wrap around porch for outdoor living overlooking the Bay.
Entering the side door, you come into a great country kitchen with beamed ceiling, water views, wood floor and a small built in seat near the dining area. The kitchen has many cabinets, double sink, microwave, toaster and coffee maker. A pedestal table with four stools makes a great breakfast area. Off the kitchen is a large bath with oversize shower.
A short hall opens to a very large living room with many windows, double entry door, sliding glass door all with wonderful views of the park and nearby Bay. The floors are wide pine in beautiful condition, beamed ceilings, small woodstove, TV/VCR and comfortable furnishings. Access to the porch is right out both double doors allowing fresh ocean air to come through this lovely room.
A staircase leads to a second floor with a large common room at the landing with small desk area and another built in seat /bed lounging area. This room has a set of glass French doors that opens to the master bedroom with queen bed and two large windows overlooking the Bay and a series of window boxes filled with summer flowers.
To the rear of the cottage, a small half bath leads to another hallway with two more bedrooms. One of the rooms is done in natural pine and has a queen bed and some glimpses of the Bay. The adjacent bedroom has two twins.
This well kept cottage can provide ample accommodations for six people with lots of room to spread out. The cottage does have central heat for cool nights or off season chilly days. There is also parking for two vehicles. A wonderful rental in a great location.
