A Perfect Historic Cottage Made for Porch Living

At the Rockport Cottage, you are going to experience Bayside as it has been experienced for generations. You will feel like you’re in the heart of the village and yet focused on the Bay. Located at the very bottom of the historic Auditorium Pak, you will quickly learn the art of porch life if you aren’t already familiar. Kids, neighbors, old friends and new friends will greet you from your comfortable porch with a friendly “hello” as you’re enjoying a cup or a glass of whatever quenches your thirst on a summer day. A short walk down the public ramp gets you to the beach.

Features & Floorplan

As you enter the cottage from the front porch you are welcomed with a comfortable seating area in perfect coastal tones. There is plenty of seating and historic stained glass windows. There is also a lovely slider door/window that lets in plenty of sunlight to read a book or do that big puzzle you’ve been wanting to get to.

You then walk into the kitchen with a large table for all to share a summer meal at discuss the day’s events. You can leave the slider open and come and go to the large porch.

Upon reaching the top of the stairs, there is the first of two double sized bedrooms. It’s a bright room containing a lovely double bed.  The second double bedroom, is to the right.  There is a bathroom with a standing shower on this level. You will have a bird’s eye view of the ocean.  Once again, you feel like you’re on the ledge of the ocean.

Returning back to the living floor, you can continue down to the lower level. There is a sitting area, a set of twin bunkbeds.  There is access to the outside from this area. There is a full bathroom with a tub/shower combination. There is also a laundry room.

There is parking for two vehicles next to the cottage.
